Re: nafed certification training
NAFED is dedicated to the fire equipment distribution industry and has the expertise to train your staff on the latest codes and standards. NAFED introduced the industry's premier certification programs for technicians servicing portable fire extinguishers, pre-engineered kitchen extinguishing systems, and industrial pre-engineered systems. In 2009, the portable and pre-engineered exams were merged into a joint program with the ICC (International Code Council) Training Certification Program DOT Train-the-Trainer Per the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49 (CFR 49), any employee who handles, recharges, hydrostatic tests, transports, ships, or orders fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, or engineered systems is a HazMat employee and must be fully trained, tested, and certified. NAFED's Advanced Kitchen Systems Training This seminar goes beyond the basics of understanding the NFPA standards and manufacturers' manuals and deals with specific areas of NFPA 17A and 96 to provide a detailed visual and audio presentation on the problems and solutions faced by the kitchen fire extinguishing systems technician.
