BAC (Blacktown Aero Club) is currently accepting applications of both full & associate members. All applications will only be reviewed after applicants have had a minimum of 3 flying visits with a member of the committee.

The History of the BAC (Blacktown Aero Club) is as follows:

Club History

2014 - Sydney International Shooting Centre
BAC was relocated to the Sydney International Shooting Centre in Cecil Park thanks again to the work of Fran & John Kastelan and the assistance of the Western Sydney Parklands.

2009 - 2014 - Western Sydney Parklands
After many years BAC was relocated with the assistance of Western Sydney Parklands to a site just off the Great Western Highway.
It enjoyed 4 years at the open area before it was set to be developed however room was made for us at the current site next to the Sydney International Shooting Centre in Cecil Park.

1988 - 2009 - OTC Site at Doonside
The club was established in 1988 at the old OTC site in Doonside by Bob Simmons and others including John Kastelan.

Field

Its current field is located next to the Sydney International Shooting Centre in Cecil Park. Due to the nature of the hobby it has a few rules for those attending.

 All members must sign in at the front office before heading to the field.
 Visitors must be accompanied by a BAC member.
 Visitors who are intending to fly will be required to pay a fee directly to the centre of $13.20.
 Visitors not flying will still need to sign in but will not be required to pay a fee.

Once at the field please be aware that the picket fence along the outskirts of the field is our flying boundary as it is within range of the clay shooters.

One must stay within the boundary. If one loses one’s model within this area one will not be able to collect it until the end of the day.
