SSC Combined Graduate Level CGL Examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission SSC to recruit staff to various posts in ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting staff for various Group B and Group C posts. SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have attained Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Age Limit - Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years Age Relaxation: Category of Candidates Relaxation of Age Permissible SC/ST Candidates 5 years OBC candidates 3 years PH candidates 10 years (General) / 13 years (OBC) / 15 years (SC/ST) Ex-servicemen 3 years (General) / 6 years (OBC) / 8 years (SC/ST) Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 5 years Widows / Divorced Women / Women judicially separated and who are not remarried 3 years SSC CGL 2017-18 Exam Dates Application starts form 15th May 2017 Last date for registration 19th June 2017 SSC CGL Tier-I Exam 5th Aug to 23rd Aug 2017 SSC CGL Tier-II(CBE) 17.02.2018 to 22.02.2018 SSC CGL Tier-III (Des) 31.03.2018 SSC CGL Tier-IV Exam May/ June,2018 (SKILL) Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Computer Based Examination, Computer Proficiency Test, and Descriptive Test. Application Fee: General, OBC and UR candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through net-banking, credit/debit card or cash mode using SBI Bank Challan. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PH and Women candidates are exempted from paying any fee. |
