The full form of APTET is Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. Andhra Pradesh School Education Department conducts Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) cum Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for the posts of Teachers.

APTET Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:-
• One must have completed the Graduation from a recognized board of university.
• One should have a B. Ed. Degree from a recognized university.

Age limit:-
• One should have minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum Age limit is 40 years.
• The age relaxation as per government rules and may be for OBC candidates 3 year and ST/SC candidates 5 years.

Application Fee:-
• For all the category Students Application Fee will be Rs. 250/

Paper Ist for TGT Teacher:-
• Total Number of Questions:- 150
• Duration of Exam:- 2 hours 30 minutes
• Total Marks of Exam:- 150 Marks

Papers of TGT Teacher:-
• Child Development and Pedagogy:- 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• Language I:- 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• Language II:- 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• Mathematics:- 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• Environmental Studies:- 30 Questions (30 Marks)

Paper IInd for PGT Teacher
• Total Number of Questions:- 150
• Duration of Exam:- 2 hours 30 minutes
• Total Marks of Exam:- 150 Marks
