Exam pattern
Tier 1:

This examination consists of Objective Type – Multiple choice questions.
This exam exam is comprises into 4 sections viz. General Intelligence, English, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude.
Each Section contains 50 questions.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Time duration for this exam will be 60 min i.e 1 Hour.
The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV.
Total mark for this exam will be 200.
SSC CHSL Tier 1 book are given below.

Tier 2:

This exam i.e Tier II will take place in Pen and Paper Mode.
Candidate can choose language whether they want to write the paper either in Hindi or in English.
The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent.

Skill Test (Tier III) :

Your final would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II
Tier-III of the Examination will be the Skill Test / Typing Test which would be of a qualifying nature.
