The University of Madras has built up a fantastic Institute of Distance Education in the year 1981 to help learners to accomplish their instructive, profession and individual objectives. It has finished over 25 years of administration in the field of Distance Education. Presently the IDE is putting forth 22 Undergraduate Courses, 14 Postgraduate Courses, 9 Postgraduate Science Courses, 5 Professional Courses, 16 Diploma Courses and 12 Certificate Courses.
