The Andhra University Visakhapatnam is conducts Andhra University Research Common Entrance Test for admission to full-time /part-time M. Phil. and full-time / part-time/ extramural / inter- disciplinary Ph.D. programmes of Andhra University.

The Andhra University was established in 1926. This is one of the oldest institutes in India for Higher Education and the first residential and teaching-cum-affiliating University in India.

The admission process to the UG programs generally starts in the month of April every year.

The admission to PG programs is conducted from March onwards.
