The Department of Law, Tripura University invites application for admission in LL.M program.

LL.M Admission

LL.M (Master of Laws) (4 semesters, 2 years):

Criminal Law, Contract and Insurance, Human Rights, Intellectual Property, Environmental Law, Constitutional Law, Competition Law

Seats: 15 (Fifteen)

Eligibility:

Three year LL.B after graduation under at least 10+2+3 pattern or five years LL.B under 10+2+5 pattern recognised by the Bar Council of India securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in LL.B degree

Admission Process:

The admission to LL.M course shall be made on the basis of merit in the LL.M entrance test, viva voce and academic performance in LL.B

Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination may also apply and appear in the test

Entrance Test:

The scheme for entrance test would be as, 50% would be counted from candidate’s written test marks, 25% would be counted from candidate’s viva voce marks, 25% would be counted from candidate’s graduation marks

The entrance test will be of 100 marks comprising 50 (fifty) multiple choice questions

The questions shall be asked from the following areas, Constitutional Law, Law of Torts, Indian Contract Act, 1872, Indian Penal Code, 1860, Jurisprudence, International Law, Human Rights, Family law, Environmental law
