The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has released the notification for the recruitment for Junior Research Fellow post in a DST funded research project entitled "Functional studies on the IncRNAs of Plasmodium falciparum and its role in antigenic variation process"

Eligibility Criteria-

Candidates must have first class Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or any other relevant subjects with good academic records.

The candidates in final year of M.Sc (Results awaited) are also encouraged to apply, however the candidate should be qualified at the time of interview.

Desirable qualifications:

Qualification in National Eligibility Test [CSIR-UGC NET Including LS /GATE/ DBT-JRF/ ICMR-JRF etc]

AGE:

28 years as on 25th May, 2016.

Emoluments:

Rs.25,000 for the first two years and Rs.28,000 for the third year + 20% HRA for National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified candidates.
Rs.12,000/- + 20% HRA for the first two years and Rs.14,000 for the third year + 20% HRA for those who are not qualified National Eligibility test.

Duration:

Three years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier. The initial appointment will be given for 2 years and further extension will be based on the performance.
