Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering University, Pauri (GBPEC) is an Institute with aggregate responsibility to quality and perfection in scholastic interests. The College was set up in 1989, as a self-sufficient body, with a view to satisfy the perpetually developing interest for all around prepared experts. It is one of only a handful couple of chief universities conferring specialized instruction in the condition of Uttarakhand.

The University began its first scholastic session from 1991-92 with a constrained admission. The College was then associated to the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal). From the scholastic year 2006-2007, the school got associated to the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun

Undergraduate Programs

By and by, the establishment offers seven courses at Undergraduate(UG) level. The Institute has developed as a completely private driving Institution of the state offering undergrad programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering and Biotechnology.
