The Open University is integrated through Royal Charter (RC 000391), an exempt charity in England & Wales and a charity registered in Scotland (SC 038302).its offered French Diploma.

About French Diploma
French Diploma is for those who want a eligibility in French, either in its own right or as an interim eligibility towards a BA (Honours) Modern Language Studies (B30) degree, or any other degree that includes French language program (the University does not provide single language degrees). It enables student to learn how to communicate effectively in French, both in speech and writing.

The Diploma in French is made up of Level 2 and Level 3 program taken from their undergraduate programme. There are no entry requirements but student need a good knowledge of the subject area, received either from Level 1 study with the OU or from equal work at another university. The normal preparation would be the Level 1 course Ouverture: intermediate French (L120).
