Introduction
Gulbarga University was established in 1980 by an Act of Karnataka State. Its legal power covers to the five dominions of Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Bellary and Koppal of Hyderabad Karnataka. Earlier it was a -postgraduate centre of Karnatak College, Dhahran since 1970.
The main field is situated on a 860 acres of land, 6 kilo cadences east of Gulbarga city. Gulbarga College was founded in 1980 by an Act of Karnataka State. There are 230 colleges affiliated to this University which enrol high/certificate courses in arts, fine arts, music, social skills, science & engineering, Commerce Department, Department of Education and law.
