(HPMC) were prepared by granulation tissue with water and compressing at 127 MPa in a hydraulic press. The release profile of the found tablets was evaluated with the USP 23 apparatus 2 (paddle) at 100 rpm and using 0.1 N HCI as the medium.
The determine of the HPMC viscous ness grade and material size on the free profile of antiprotozoal was measured at glutinosity grades of 15, 860, 5000, 20000 and 30000 cP and at particle sizes of 163, 213, 335 and 505 am.
The results showed a linear relationship between the inverse of the action rate (Q/t1/2) and the consistency grade of HPMC, at a HPMC ratio of 10%. A linear relation between the release rate and the cube of the radius of the HPMC materials was also observed.
