Introduction
The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing is the instructing and teaching weapon of the Indian Department of Space. Settled in Dehradun, the institute provides a diversity of courses of study in remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), ranging in distance from one week to two years.
The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) under National Remote Sensing Centre, Department of Space, and Government of India is a prime training and education institute covering with Remote Sensing, Geoinformation Science & GPS Technology and their Applications. Since Sept. 1, 2008, IIRS was instructed under the ISRO umbrella. The important stress of the IIRS is directing and teaching in the area of geoinformatics. Technology and applications of Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS are taught in the form of training and education at several levels (decision making level to working level or fresh post graduate level).

Good evening sir,
Sir i am M.A. in Geography., and doing PG Diploma in RS & GIS. from ALLD.UNIV. at present.
Sir i would like to know can i apply for M.Tech. in RS & GIS.
Sir please give me a right direction in this refrence, and is it possible plz tell me the name of such type of institutions that can provide M.Tech. programmes in RS & GIS, for MA Geography Students
