The Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMS) was founded in 1983. The Society gives a common deck to medical researchers, statisticians and computer experts working in medical institutions to communicate and gain mutually towards improvement and application of biostatistician methods. ISMS is functioning in medical area is the only Society of its kind in the South East Asia region.
