The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination is an examination directed through the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, a private, non-governmental board of school education in India, for class 10, i.e., grade 10. It has been planned to furnish an examination in a program of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986 (India), through the medium of English. The examination allows secure suitable representation of Governments responsible for schools (which are associated to it) in their States/Territories. Private students are not allowed to appear for this examination.
Information about Last Year Icse Percentages
Women are once again at the top in the ICSE and ISC exams this last year with their pass percentages being 1% and 3% higher than boys in the Class X and XII exams severally. All four Delhi schools associated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) have developed 100% results this year.
approximately 97,303 students, admitting 54,554 boys and 42,749 girls, appeared for the Class X (ICSE) exams while 45,293 student, admitting 25,375 boys and 19,918 girls, appeared for the Class XII (ISC) exams this year. In Class X, girls secured a pass percentage of 98.53% while boys achieved 97.51% success. Similarly, in Class XII, girls secured a pass percentage of 98.24%, better than boys at 95.95%.
