Distance Education is formerly known as Missouri State Online offers personalized support to enhance the faculty and student experience in online teaching and learning. At present, as part of the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, Distance Education is dedicating itself to serving the needs of faculty by providing support in the delivery of online courses.
Missouri State University-West Plains Online is a campus without protects – an “anytime, anyplace” learning situation reached by both the student and educator via the Internet. In an online course, students and teachers are linked by a computer connection and use a special course management system to contact. Limits of time and space nearly disappear, saving commuting costs and beating scheduling conflicts.
