Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) or the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) is the civil body that governs the city of Mumbai. It was incepted under Bombay Municipal Corporation Act 1888.This dispersion of powers between the occasions of the corporation, conceived of in the Municipal Corporation act of 1888 and by this, the commissioner heads over all the authorities powers.
