National Entrance Test

Introduction
The National Entrance Test of University Grants Commission (UGC) directs National Eligibility Test (NET) to decide qualification for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian citizens in order to assure minimal criteria for the entrants in the instructing occupation and research. The Test is guided in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.

Eligibility:
someone who have passed with at least 55% marks without forming off in Master’s Degree OR equivalent exam from Universities/Institutions accredited by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.
