National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the centers of Indian Space Research Organisation under the section of Space, Govt. of India, enlisted in operational remote sensing activities. The operational use of remote sensing data span big spectrum of themes which consider water resources, agriculture, soil and land degradation, mineral exploration, groundwater targeting, geomorphologic depicting, coastal and ocean resources supervising, environment, ecology and forest mapping, land use and land cover function and urban area studies, large scale mapping, etc.
