Nehu Routine

North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) was established as a Central University by an Act of Parliament and advised on 26th May 1973 and officially introduced on 19th July 1973. The University Campus, settled amidst rolling hills hidden by pine forests, is one of the most lovely in the nation and, maybe, in the whole world. The University is still in the process of finishing the substructure ground for all its core actions. Most of the staff members now occupy within the NEHU Campus and a large number of students have residential services on the Campus itself.

The Campus Library has approximately 11,000 books and bounces products of periodicals, and presently subscribes to 156 journals. The average number of users consulting the Campus Library is 210 per day. The Campus Library will be operational all the modules of LIBSYS v.4 and begin the bar-coding of books and daybooks very shortly.
