NFDC Delhi

National Film Development Corporation of India is the central agency based to encourage the good cinema movement in the country. Over the years NFDC has supplied a wide range of services necessity to the development of Indian cinema. National Film Development Corporation Ltd., (NFDC), a Government of India Enterprise, was launched in 1975 with a view to advancing and forming an incorporated development of the Indian Film Industry and to foster excellence in cinema. The NFDC (and its predecessor the Film Finance Corporation) has so far funded / produced over 300 films.

Cine Artistes Welfare Fund of India. NFDC
The Cine Artistes Welfare Fund of India (CAWFI), a charitable trust founded by NFDC, supplies welfare amounts to the needy cine artistes of yesteryears through several schemes developed for the purpose. The corpus of the trust accrues from the profits of the film Gandhi.
