The NIT Srinagar (National Institute of Technology) is an Institute of National Importance in Northern India. In the year of 1960 The NIT Srinagar Campus was founded as the Regional Engineering College. NIT Srinagar Campus located at Hazratbal in Jammu & Kashmir state in India.
The National Institute of Technology acquired the position of National Institute of Technology with deemed to be University position during August, 2003 and attained full autonomy in its Academics with the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council of Tech is approved.
