NVBDCP is the central point agency for the prevention and control of vector borne diseases in India. The board of National Vector Borne Diseases Control Program is the national level Technical Nodal office provided with Technical analysts in the field of Public Health, Entomology, Toxicology and parasitology characteristics of malaria. It is one of the Technical sections of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India
