It is committed with the duty of carry on and administration of several examinations of School Education in like Scholarship Examinations.

The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations is the main administration in Maharashtra, as also famous known for the Middle School & High School Scholarships and National Talent Search Examinations since last 50 years. The separate office of the Council of Examinations was based and further it was called as “Maharashtra State Bureaur of Examinations” on 1996. The delegation of the MSCE is to adopt talent search at primary, secondary and Professional stage, through reliable, transparent and valid carry on of examinations.
