Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV or PKV) at Akola, in Maharashtra, India is a substantially cognized agricultural university in the Vidarbha region.
Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth is a State University and established in 1970. This University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). PDKV concedes Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Science (BSc and MSc) and Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The university has been created extensive importance in academic areas and research accomplishes since past few years it has been assigned with the obligation of agricultural education, research and extension education along with breeder and foundation seed program. The university has accomplishments in the fields of Forestry, Fishery, Veterinary Sciences, and Dry Land Horticulture. The central library has more than one lakh books on agriculture.
