The radiology facility at PGIMER, Chandigarh is rated the best in the country and comprises of one 3.0 T MR Scanner, one 1.5 T MR Scanner, four CT machines (Have as a part, be made up out of one with 64 Slice multidetector capacity. Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a First in rank or degree medical institute of India Situated in a particular spot or position in Chandigarh. The institute takes the first step or steps in carrying out an action in 1962 and Pt Jawaharlal Nehru inaugurated the hospital now named “Nehru Hospital” on 7 July 1963.
