Punjab Technical University (PTU) was Brought about or set up or accepted; especially long established by an act of State Legislature on 16 Jan-1997. . The University has the mandate to set up centres of Excellence in Emerging Technologies and for Contribute to the progress or (biology) the process of an individual organism growing organically; of Training, Research & Development in these areas. Now the university, under its administration, has 288 Colleges Something offered Courses in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, BSc MLT, Hotel Management & Catering Technology and IT Disciplines and 1005 Learning centers under distance education programme.
