Introduction
Rohilkhand University is a residential cum associating university. The university allows for association to colleges for conduct of unlike courses within its legal power namely districts of Bareilly, moral, Rampur, Bijnor, Jyotibaphule Nagar, Badaun, Pilibhit, shake etc.
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly was established in 1975. It was carved out of the then Agra University. There was a dire need to establish a separate school since the region has a lower literacy rate than the national mean.
The University imparts non-ceremonious, professional person and technical education through its network of colleges and institutes. It has, over the period, issued as a initiating institution in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
