Rajasthan Public Service Commission has had a wonderful past of nearly 50 years. During 1923, the Lee commission had advocated adjusting up of a Central Public Service committee in India, but it did not give much thought to the need of establishing similar commissions in states.
It was left mostly to the power of peasant authorities to recruit and practice control over their serves, as they thought proper. The substitute government after the merger of the sumptuous states proclaimed a regulation on 16th August, 1949 demonstrating the Rajasthan Public Service Commission Ajmer.
