Introduction
Saurashtra University, based on 23rd May, 1967, is located in Rajkot city of the saurel area of Gujarat State, India. The campus of the University is disseminate over 410 acres of land. The legal power of the University includes Amreli, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot and SurendraNagar districts. The University has 242 colleges associated to it imparting undergrad and Post alumna education. It has been distinctly fortunate to avail of the erudition and academic experience of various discerned educationalists, commencing with the late full professor Dolarrai Mankad, the founder Vice prime minister of the University.
The Saurashtra University is one of the biggest universities of Gujarat state in India. It has very vast campus admeasuring 360 acres. It covers five districts of Saurashtra region. “It has been Re-accredited Grade ‘B’ by NAAC, (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), (CGPA 2.93) formed by the authorities of India.” It is a 41 years old University.
