Introduction
The Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), India is an Institute of country’s significance demonstrated in 1974 by Govt. of Kerala. The Institute has the position of a University and provides postdoctoral, doctoral and PG courses in medical individualities, public health, nursing, basic sciences and health care technology.Now, it is a self-reliant Institute with National Importance under the administrative authority of the Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.It is a unit of the Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Common wealth Universities.
