Introduction
The SIMER conducts various programs sanctioned by the AICTE and the University of Mumbai and consequently its organization and operating are based on the guidelines provided by these agencies. However, for the aimed of Public faith Act and Income Tax Act, the Institute is a part of the Somaiya Vidyavihar, the Parent Body registered under the Society’s Act. The PGDM-RM program provides means for extending the education and ability for high prospective managers for the marketing sector, and also from associated business areas, by training them for enhanced duties and changing them to better deal with today’s dynamic retail situation. SIMSR has established its government Council as per the guidance of the AICTE. The Governing Council of SIMSR sanctions all the rules and dominates for the procedures of the Institute and is the supreme body of the Institute.
