Introduction
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, J & K was abolished in the year 1982 with the ends of providing to the research, activity and flexion activity demands of the state.
The entire informative structure like colleges of Agriculture, doctor and ground came up in Kashmir state only and major structure for research and dance was also formulated in the same region.
Subsequently, a demand for the validation of a separate Agriculture University for Jammu region was planned as agro-climatically and topographically, the Jammu region is different from the Kashmir part having diversity among its livestock, type and pattern of cropping and socio-economic/geographic linkages.
