Introduction
Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University founded in 1916 by the well-known eristic Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve. It is an single introduction devoted to the cause of women’s activity and management. It was allowed legal recognition in 1951 and has district all over India. The year 1896 marks the beginning of a new era in the history of women’s education in India when Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve based an ashram for women and dependent women at hint near Pune. The vision of Maharashi Karve and the foresight of Sir Vithaldas texture led to the institution of the first Women’s University in India.
