Introduction
Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd (tiic.org): TIIC is a prime Financial Institution comprised in 1949 as a Company under the parties Act, to further Industrial Development of Tamilnadu. It provides financial help to Small Scale and Medium Scale Industrial units.

TIIC also allows for financial resource to professional person and Transport Vehicle Operators Government of Madras reflected the establishment of a State Level Financial Institution to help encouraging and accelerating the pace of industry of Tamilnadu.

It was at this juncture that the Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC) (earlier called Madras Industrial Investment Corporation till 1971)
