Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal Univ., Jaunpur Purvanchal University, Jaunpur (renamed as Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in the award of late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, former boss pastor of the state) was based on 2nd October 1987 as an associating university under U.P. state university act 1973. uninterrupted soft and valued development, excellence in academic and administrative actions and cobwebby and efficient academic government have been some of the distinct features on the basis of which VBS Purvanchal.
