Vidya Sagar setu
Vidya Sagar Setu is under normal conditions known as the Second Hooghly Bridge and is a bridge over the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. The commissioning agency was the Hooghly River Bridge Commission (HRBC) and someone (a person or firm) who contracts to build things for the construction was the consortium of Braithwaite, Burn and Jessop also called BBJ. This setu kept in good condition by Hooghly River Bridge Commissioners. Vidya Sagar Situated in a particular spot or position 2 km.to the south of Howrah Bridge, the Vidya Sagar Setu is Kolkata newest suspension bridge throughout the Hooghly. It links the city of Howrah to its twin city of Kolkata. Construction started in 1978 and the bridge was finally inaugurated on the 10th of October, 1992.
