Can you tell me about the recruitment 2017 in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) score?

ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited) is inviting applications for the 15 post of Assistant Legal Advisor through CLAT Score. The application form for ONGC Recruitment is available from May 5, 2017.

One having LLB Degree or equivalents are eligible to apply for this post. The selection process for ONGC Recruitment is scheduled after CLAT 2017 Result. The selection is done on the basis of scores obtained in CLAT 2017 followed by a personal interview.

Eligibility for ONGC CLAT 2017

• One must have LLB degree or equivalent from a UGC/AICTE or any other recognized university.
• One must have obtained at least 60% of marks in aggregate in their graduation.
• One in the final semester of the qualifying course is also eligible to apply. One must have produce mark sheet of all the semester on or before July 15, 2017.
• Practicing Advocate with 3 years of experience will be preferred for all categories.
• One must have a valid score in CLAT 2017. The previous year scores obtained in CLAT are not valid for ONGC recruitment.

Age Limit
The upper age limit for the general category is 30 years while it is 33 years for OBC category and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
The age limit for PWD category is 40 years. One will be further relaxed by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category.
One belongs to Ex-Servicemen (General, OBC, SC, ST) will be relaxed by 5 years in age.
The age relaxation will be extended to departmental candidates to the extent of their services rendered in ONGC.
The age limit will be calculated as on January 01, 2017.
