The Air Force Academy, Hyderabad was established in the year 1971. This is positioned at Dindigul some 25 kilometers from Secunderabad and Hyderabad.

This institute offers state of the art training facilities to the Flying, Technical as well as Ground Duty Branches.

Air Force Academy, Hyderabad is comprised of several branches such as, meteorological, logistics, administrative, accounts, education as well as air controlling.

Students are provided with all sorts of assistance to enhance their skill and knowledge to act as military leaders.

The squadrons feature MiG-27, SU-30, MiG-29, Mirage-2000, Jaguar aircraft, MiG-23, and MiG-21, etc.

Applying process:

Students need to take Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam which is organized twice in a year.
