IAF is an industry-drove, not-revenue driven association speaking to the agribusiness, nourishment handling, cultivate supply and post cultivate door divisions crosswise over British Columbia.

Since 1996, we have worked with our industry accomplices and funders to put resources into activities that upgrade the intensity, gainfulness and manageability of BC horticulture and agri-sustenance.

BC Government's Buy Local Program

Program Objectives

Ventures must meet the accompanying destinations:

Increment utilization of British Columbia's farming, sustenance and fish areas in the residential commercial center

Manufacture buyer inclination, request and deals for BC agrifoods sold inside the region

Qualified Activities

Organizations and associations speaking to BC's farming, agrifood or fish divisions are getting to up to $75,000 for qualified ventures to at least $5,000. Exercises must be NEW exercises to the candidate to be discovered qualified. Cases include:

Media promoting (e.g., radio, TV, print)

In-store advancements and promoting (e.g., signage, formulas, in-store exhibits, customer challenges, flyer publicizing)

Adding your purchase neighborhood identifier to on-item marking

Online networking or electronic showcasing efforts (e.g., Buy Local particular point of arrival)

Buyer public exhibitions and occasions

Marking and advertising exercises

Eligible Applicants
• Associations
• Cooperatives
• Marketing boards
• Aboriginal groups
• Non-profit organizations
• For-profit organizations
• Primary producers
• Individual BC agrifood as well as seafood producers, processors and/or firms who are promoting eligible agrifood and seafood products.

All aspirants must have a head office, or be registered, in BC.
