Admission to MBBS and BDS programme in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is to be done on the basis of NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) scores. University is not conducting any separate entrance exam. Yes, it is compulsory to attach DD (Demand Draft) with the Application Form for admission in MBBS Program in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Documents Documents to be attached with AMU MBBS application form: • High school certificate for date of birth proof • Mark sheet of highest qualified examination • Bank challan or Demand Draft • Reservation certificate if any One has to provide original demand draft or bank challan and to write name, date of birth and programme applied for at the back of them. AMU MBBS Eligibility Criteria The counselling conducting authority, Aligarh Muslim University has declared a separate eligibility criteria of AMU MBBS BDS: • One must have completed 17 years of age • One must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in Class XII. One must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects • One belonging to SC/ST categories must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in Class XII, while, it is 45% marks for OBC category candidates AMU MBBS Selection Procedure Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) shortlist candidates appeared in NEET for MBBS and BDS programmes. One will be eligible for AMU MBBS BDS admission, who will secure a requisite percentile score in NEET. One belonging to general categories have to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET. Further, those belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) have to score at least 40 percentile in NEET. |
