Indian Air Force has given an employment notification for the recruitment Commissioned Officer vacancies for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying & Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Online Test (AFCAT) – 01/ 2018: Courses Commencing in July 2019.

Eligible Indian Citizen candidates may apply online from 16-12-2017 (Extended to 19-12-2017 at 06:00 pm) to 14-01-2018 (Extended to 23-01-2018).

Name of the Entry & Branch:
1. AFCAT Entry:
a. Flying
b. Ground Duty (Technical)
c. Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
2. NCC Special Entry -Flying
3 Meteorology Branch-Ground Duty (Non-Technical)

Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 20-24 years for Flying branch, 20-26 years for Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) as on 01-01-2019.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on written test & medical exam.

Examination Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs. 250/- for AFCAT entry candidates.
No fee for Meteorology entry and NCC Special entry candidates.

Starting Date to Apply Online: 16-12-2017 (Extended to 19-12-2017 at 06:00 pm)
