Eligibility:
Age criteria –
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 23 years

Educational qualification –
The candidates must have must have passed matriculation class or its equivalent. The candidates with diploma or certificate course from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized Institution are preferred.

Selection Process:
The selection for the post is done through recruitment test which includes height bar test, race, checking of documents, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Objective type written examination, interview, merit list, and detailed medical examination (DME).

Application Fee:
The application fee of RS.50 (For General and OBC category) must be paid in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/ IPO/ Bank Draft in favor of “Inspector General, North-West Frontier, ITBP, payable at SBI - AFS Chandigarh Code No - 1495.

There is no fee for SC/ ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Tentative pay
Pay Scale – Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade pay of Rs. 2000 per month

Exam pattern
The written exam followed by PST will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
