National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC Limited) has released the notification for the recruitment for Trainee Engineers / Officers post through GATE.

Name of posts - Trainee Engineers / Officers

Eligibility Criteria-

Trainee Engineer (Electrical)-

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology /B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Discipline from recognized Indian University /Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (enrollment before 31.05.2013).

Electrical Discipline includes Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Power Systems & High Voltage / Power Engineering.

Age limit - 30 Yrs.

Trainee Engineer (Civil) -

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized Indian University /Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade

Age limit - 30 Yrs.

Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)-

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology /B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Discipline from recognized Indian University /Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
Mechanical Discipline includes Mechanical / Production / Thermal /Mechanical & Automation Engineering.

Age limit - 30 Yrs.

Trainee Officer (Geology)

Full time regular M.Sc. (Geo.)/ M. Tech in Applied Geology (should have studied Geology with Mathematics or Physics at Graduation level), from recognized Indian University /Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Age limit - 30 Yrs.

Pay scale-

Trainee Engineer (Electrical)- 20600- 3%-46500 (IDA)

Trainee Engineer (Civil) - 20600-3%-46500 (IDA)

Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)-20600-3%-46500 (IDA)

Trainee Officer (Geology) - 20600-3%-46500 (IDA)
