Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the competitive entrance examinations for pursuing postgraduate programmes in Business Administration for admission to 19 Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and various B-schools located across the country.

As you want here I am telling There are 2 stages that a candidate goes through before getting selected for IIM-Ahmedabad PGP Programme.

The first stage is appearing for the CAT Exam conducted by the IIMs.

On clearing the required cutoffs and the composite score, a candidate is called for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

From 2015 onwards, WAT has been replaced by Academic Writing Test (AWT).

The minimum call cutoffs for the 2015-2017 batch has been given below

Minimum CAT percentile for General category candidates : 99.67

Minimum CAT percentile for NC-OBC category candidates : 96.42

Minimum CAT percentile for SC category candidates : 90.68

Minimum CAT percentile for ST category candidates : 81.10

Minimum CAT percentile for DA category candidates : 86.76
