Can you tell me about the eligibility requirement for admission in Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A) program offered by PTU (Punjab Technical University)?

Punjab Technical University (PTU) was established by an act of the State Legislature on 16th January, 1997, to promote technical, management & pharmaceutical education in the state at the degree level and above.

The University has the mandate to set up centres of excellence in emerging technologies and for promoting training, research & development in these areas. University aims at holistic development of the students.

BCA

Eligibility
One who has passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council can apply for admission.

OR

One who has passed Matriculation exam and also passed 3 year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal

Semester Fee:
Rs. 13,950.00 (The amount includes Semester and Examination Fees of Rs. 900.00) or as revised from time-to-time
