The Central Board of Secondary Education is conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Examination on behalf of University Grant Commission (UGC) on July.

CBSE UGC NET exam is conducted for the posts of Junior Research Fellowship or eligibility for Assistant Professor or both in Indian University.’


On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) in July for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and in Colleges.

CBSE will conduct NET in 84 subjects at 90 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country.

Online Application Form Submission: March/April
Last Date for Applying Online: March/April
Last Date of Submission of Fee through Online Generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank): March/April
Correction in Particulars of Application Form: May
Date of Examination: Second Sunday July (9th July - Tentative)

Education:

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc is eligible for this Test
