About the Course
The Ph.D. programme at BARC consists of one year of course work followed by research work leading to a doctoral degree

Admission Details :

M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Biology or related science subjects with minimum 60%* marks in MSc as well as in BSc are eligible to apply.

*A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.

Selection Criteria
Selection for the Ph.D. programme is a two-step process: Screening shall be on the basis of the rank obtained / marks scored in the UGC-CSIR-JRF-NET. In addition, the NET conducted by DBT, ICAR or ICMR will also be considered for Life Sciences
