The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre is offering M.Sc courses through its centre of Homi Bhabha National Institute.

The Homi Bhabha National Institute is a deemed university and also an institute of national excellence.

This institution is among the few in the country today known as an institute of excellence. It has been established under the purview of the Department of Atomic Energy.

The HBNI offers post graduate courses of study and research facilities in faculties of science and engineering and health science offered at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai as Constituent institutes, among others.

The HBNI is invites applications for admission to the M.Sc. (Engineering) and Ph.D. Programmes.

The programmes are available in the various Constituent Institutions of HBNI.

The admission for programme is through a screening process that involves an all-India written test followed by a Selection Interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Master of Science [M.Sc] (Engineering)

Candidates should be an employee recruited through BARC Training Schools located at various places across the country or the Technical Training Programme of IPR within five years preceding the date of application of admission. In addition, your performance in those training programmes must be above a threshold specified by the Board of Studies in Engineering Sciences.

They should have a B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc. or a PG Diploma or equivalent degree of a recognized university or institute with minimum 50% of marks.
